Memories drift back of that memorable day back on 2nd April 2006 when we last played Carlisle in the Mill Stad...
The Football League Trophy Final ended 2-1 to Swansea on that day, with a memorable goal from Trundle topping it off... Trundle was one of only 5 players to start both that game and this one, along with Willy, Tate, Britton and Robinson...
So could we expect more of the same today? Most
fans expected a tough game, although few predicted that Carlisle would reverse
the result from April... A crowd of 12,550 turned up for Family Day, where
kids paid Quids to get in...

"You've come a long Reays for ruck all"...
Sorry...

The teams tak to the pitch for the first half...

Willy today was sporting a lovely pink number today, possibly in tribute to the impending visit of Stad Francais to play the Ospreys... Or maybe it was part of the new 3rd kit, as displayed by the mascots below...

No, Norwich aren't the visitors today, that green and yellow kit is our new 3rd kit!!!

You're all alone Willy... Maybe the others are ashamed to stand near the pinkness...

Swans kick off, playing right to left...

The Carlisle away support... Not bad considering the distance they had to travel...

7 minutes in, and Lawrence is on the scoresheet... that's his 4th this season already...
Jackett better be careful, or Lawrence may start asking for a goal bonus in a new contract!

Gueret, or as some fans chanted "Pink Willy"... I think it suits him!

A rare Carlisle attack from a free kick

Robinson lays a ball through to Fallon...

2-0 and Fallon makes it 7 for the season...

Robinson and Painter linking up on the left...

27 mins in and Robinson hits a 30 yard screamer to make it 3-0...
